Thanks to September-11th.us for the wonderful archive of photos. There are so many more, I could only show a few.
Our hearts go out to the family and friends of those who died or were injured on September 11, 2001. We will NEVER FORGET!
Our thanks to those who risked life and limb to aid in the recovery of those lost. You are heroes.
"This nation has defeated tyrants, liberated death camps, and raised this lamp of liberty to every captive land. We have no intention of ignoring or appeasing history's latest gang of fanatics trying to murder their way to power . . . "

God Bless America!
September 11 was the most defining moment in the United States of America in last 60 years. America, once again, was put to the test, and once again, we passed . . .
America is the greatest nation on earth, proved to the world that this experiment in democracy works under the best and the worse of times. Just when we began to think that we have seen the best of our country in the rear view mirror, we are put to the test.
Thus was the tragedy of September 11, 2001 yet another test. Our Revolution, the Civil War, both World Wars, Korea, Viet Nam, the Civil Rights Crusades, assassinations, resignations, impeachment, Iraq . . . 9-11. All that, and we passed the test once again, proving that we are still capable of coming together in a time of national crisis.
GOD BLESS THE AMERICAN PEOPLE
Pennsylvania and the Pentagon
Far fewer picture, but no less important. Flight 93 crashed in Pennsylvania, and another plane hit the Pentagon.
The View from Afar
Have You Forgotten by Daryl Worley
I hear people saying we don't need this war
I say there's some things worth fighting for
What about our freedom and this piece of ground?
We didn't get to keep 'em by backing down
They say we don't realize the mess we're getting in
Before you start preaching
Let me ask you this my friend
CHORUS 1
Have you forgotten how it felt that day
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away?
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside
Going through a living hell
And you say we shouldn't worry 'bout Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
They took all the footage off my T.V.
Said it's too disturbing for you and me
It'll just breed anger that's what the experts say
If it was up to me I'd show it every day
Some say this country's just out looking for a fight
Terrorism MUST be STOPPED! After 9/11 man I'd have to say that's right
CHORUS 1
Have you forgotten how it felt that day
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away?
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside
Going through a living hell
And we vowed to get the ones behind Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
I've been there with the soldiers
Who've gone away to war
And you can bet that they remember
Just what they're fighting for
CHORUS 2
Have you forgotten all the people killed?
Yes, some went down like heroes in that Pennsylvania field
Are THEY worth fighting for? Have you forgotten about our Pentagon?
All the loved ones that we lost
And those left to carry on
Don't you tell me not to worry 'bout Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?

The Missing
We will prevail . . .
" . . . that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain; that this nation shall have a new birth of freedom; and that this government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."
